2008 Texas Star Racing Summary

Texas Star Racing Teammate - Allen Montgomery

Allen races in the IMCA Hobby Stock Class at Boyd Speedway and Kennedale Speedway Park.

Allen also competed in races in Marshalltown Iowa in July and in Boone Iowa in September. 

Texas Star Racing Teammate - Brad Alger

Brad Alger took center stage at the Utica Rome banquet in December as he was honored for his first ever track championship at the Vernon. Alger completed the season with four wins during regular competition along with nine top fives. Alger also followed the Dart Dirt Race of Champions Sportsman tour, where he had also was champion.

Congratulations to Brad Alger and the team who notched their sixth win of the season Sunday August 17th at Utica-Rome Speedway.

Congratulations to Brad Alger and his team for winning the Track Championship at Utica-Rome Speedway this season!  Brad finishes the regular season with six wins!

Brad leads the season points standings at Utica-Rome Speedway and in the Northeast Race of Champions Series.

Texas Star Racing Teammate - Eric Tomlinson

Congratulations to Eric Tomlinson who won is 3rd race of the season Saturday night at Texas Thunder Speedway in Killeen Texas.  Eric also finished 4th at Heart O' Texas Speedway Friday night.

Eric will compete in the IMCA Southern Sport Mod Nationals at Heart O' Texas Speedway this weekend.  Good luck Eric! 

Eric is 6th in National Points and 4th in State Points as of August 23rd.  He is 4th in points at Heart O' Texas Speedway and 2nd at Texas Thunder Speedway.
