Texas Star Racing Welcomes Brad Alger for the 2008 Race Season

Texas Star Racing is proud to announce that we will provide sponsorship to Brad Alger in the 78a Sportsman Series car again for the 2008 season! 

Brad lives in Oneonta New York and races at Utica Rome Speedway.  We'll have some great opportunities to get to know Brad and his team more throughout the season as we track his progress!

Here is some information about our teammate Brad.....

Hi, I'm Brad Alger . I live in upstate New York & I Love Racing!  I race my sportsman series car at the Utica Rome Speedway known as the "Fast Vernon Oval". It is a half mile banked oval of pure red clay! Man is it FAST! Down the chute, we can reach up to 100mph and just throw it into the corner and feather it out.......Man.... There isn't anything that comes close to that! I ended up finishing 4th in points at the Utica Rome Speedway & 2nd in points at The New Afton Speedway for the 2006 season. Well, for my day job, I climb & trim trees along the power lines in upstate NY as well the whole northeast when there are emergency weather related power outages.
