Texas Star Racing LLC was proud to sponsor these talented drivers during the 2007 season.  During the regular season these three drivers logged 36 feature wins and four track championships!

Texas Star Racing reached beyond the confines of the State of Texas and partnered with Brad Alger and his team in New York.  Brad drives in the Sportsman Class at Utica-Rome Speedway.

The season did not materialize as planned due to USRA shutting down their Late Model and Truck Series teams.  As a result, Texas Star Racing did not have the opportunity to put Nathan Sodek into a USRA Truck as planned.

Congratulations to Nathan Sodek who won the IMCA Hobby Stock Southern Region Championship!

Nathan also finished the season 2nd in IMCA National Points

TEMPLE, Texas – Looking back on the start of his 2006 season, Nathan Sodek figured 2007 had to be better.
Sodek started his 2006 campaign in a new car, but got into the wall at 281 Speedway his first night out.
He avoided similar misfortune this year, racking up 17 feature wins enroute to the Destroyer Chassis Southern Region championship and the runner-up spot nationally.
“I get to race with a lot of fast guys every night,” said Sodek, who topped points races at Abilene Speedway and Heart O’ Texas Speedway. “The competition is real good here in Texas.”
The highlight to his season came with a late-race pass that got him the win at HOT’s Steve Spoonts Memorial. Sodek will stay in the class next season and make a run for the national prize.
